Social Links

Connect your organization's social media profiles so members and visitors can find you across platforms.

The Social Links page is found under APPEARANCE → Social in the admin sidebar. Add URLs for your organization's social media accounts, and they'll appear as icons in the site footer and on public-facing pages.

Supported Platforms

fellos supports links to the following social media platforms:

  • Facebook — your organization's Facebook page or group
  • Instagram — your Instagram profile
  • X (Twitter) — your X/Twitter account
  • YouTube — your YouTube channel
  • LinkedIn — your LinkedIn company page or group
  • TikTok — your TikTok profile
  • Website — an external website (if your organization has a separate main website)
  1. Navigate to APPEARANCE → Social in the admin sidebar.
  2. For each platform your organization uses, enter the full URL in the corresponding field. Include the https:// prefix.
  3. Leave fields blank for platforms you don't use — blank fields are simply not displayed.
  4. Click Save Changes to apply.
Tip

Use the full URL, not just your handle. For example, use https://facebook.com/RiversideMC instead of just RiversideMC. This ensures the links work correctly when clicked.

Where Social Links Appear

Once configured, your social links appear in two places:

  • Site footer — social media icons appear at the bottom of every page, both public and member-facing. Each icon links to the corresponding platform.
  • Public homepage — if your site has a public homepage (visible to non-logged-in visitors), social links may also appear in the hero or about section, depending on your theme configuration.

The icons are automatically generated based on which platforms have URLs configured. Platforms without URLs simply don't show an icon — no broken links, no empty spaces.

To update a social link, simply edit the URL in the corresponding field and save. To remove a link entirely, clear the field (leave it blank) and save. The icon for that platform will no longer appear in the footer.

Good to know

Social links are purely informational — they open the platform in a new browser tab when clicked. fellos does not integrate with these platforms in any other way (no automatic posting, no social login via these links). For social login configuration, see OAuth Providers.
