Dues
Checking what you owe, paying it, and reading back over what you have paid.
Some organizations collect membership dues through fellos. Where yours does, Dues is one of the sections in the left sidebar. It shows what you owe, gives you a button to pay it, and keeps a row for each dues period showing whether it is paid. If Dues is not in your sidebar, dues are not switched on for you, and nothing on this page applies.
The Dues Page
Click Dues in the sidebar. The heading reads Dues, and under it sits the line "Your membership dues and payment history."
The page has two parts:
- A Status block at the top — what you owe right now, or confirmation that you owe nothing.
- Payment history below it — a row for each dues period.
What You Owe
The Status block has two states.
When dues are owed, the block shows the amount, the word DUE, and a line giving the date they are due — "Due" followed by the date, for example Due Oct 17, 2026. Under that sits the pay button.
When nothing is owed, the block reads:
- "You're all paid up. No dues are currently owed."
- Then a second line, "Next payment (estimated):", followed by an amount and a due date — for example Next payment (estimated): $48.00 · due Oct 17, 2027.
fellos labels that line as an estimate, so read it as a guide rather than a bill. What you owe is what the Status block shows when the time comes.
Paying Your Dues
- Click Dues in the left sidebar. On a phone, tap More in the bottom bar and pick Dues.
- Read the Status block — the amount owed and the date it is due.
- Click the pay button. Its label carries the amount, so it reads Pay followed by the figure, for example Pay $48.00.
What happens next depends on how your organization takes payment, so follow the steps your own site shows you. Do not pay twice: if the amount looks wrong, or you have already settled it another way — in cash at a meeting, say — ask your organization before pressing the button, because this page records only what is paid through it.
When the payment is recorded you come back to the Dues page and it confirms it: Payment received, with "Thanks — your dues are paid up." beneath. The Status block then reads as all paid, the pay button is gone, and the row for that period in Payment history reads PAID where it read DUE before.
Payment History
Payment history sits under the Status block and lists one row per dues period. It has three columns:
- PERIOD — the dues period, shown as a single date. For a period still to pay it is the date the money is due, the same date the Status block gives.
- AMOUNT — the amount for that period.
- STATUS — whether that period is settled. A period still to pay reads DUE; a settled one reads PAID.
So a row reads as a date, an amount, and one of those two words. Periods you have already settled stay in the list with PAID against them, which is how you check back on a payment months later.
Dues Oversight
Dues Oversight is a separate sidebar entry, sitting directly under Dues. It is not about your own dues: in the product's words it lists "Members and organizations with dues coming due or past due in your area." It appears only for members whose site gives them that access.
If Dues Oversight is not in your sidebar, you do not have that access. Nothing is broken and there is nothing to fix from your side; if you believe you should have it, ask whoever administers your site.
For members who do have it, the heading reads Dues Oversight, with the line "Members and organizations with dues coming due or past due in your area." beneath. Two tiles at the top carry a count each — PAST DUE and COMING DUE — and under them sit two lists matching those tiles, each headed with its own count.
Past due
Headed Past due with its count in brackets, matching the PAST DUE tile.
Coming due
Headed Coming due with its count in brackets, matching the COMING DUE tile.
Both lists use the same five columns:
- WHO — the member the dues belong to.
- ORGANIZATION — the organization the row belongs to.
- AMOUNT — the amount.
- DUE — the due date.
- STATUS — OVERDUE or DUE SOON. Both words turn up in both lists: a row can sit under Past due and still read DUE SOON, so read the row's own status rather than the list it is in.
Your own Payment history says DUE or PAID. Dues Oversight says OVERDUE or DUE SOON. They are different sets of words on different pages, so read the status against the page you are on.
