An organization that governs itself runs on facts that depend on each other: which chapter a member belongs to, which office they hold, what kind of member they are. In fellos those are one record. A member has one home organization, and each office is tied to the organization where it is held. Change one of them through an approved request or a certified election, and the rest is updated in the same act. Here is one change, and what is already true the moment it is approved.

Your club's vocabulary
Six kinds of organization. One standard.
Prospect, lodge, post, degree, department: every kind of organization has its own words. What fellos does is the same for all six.
Motorcycle Clubs
Chapters and regions under one club, prospects and patched members, a chain of command.
A member transfers. The office at the old chapter is released.
Approve the transfer and their chapter, directory listing and history move in one step. Any office they held at the chapter they left — Road Captain, Sergeant-at-Arms — is released with it. When a prospect patches in, that is a change of member type, approved along the path your club set and kept in their membership history.
A club feed nobody has to write.
Membership anniversaries, birthdays, a new Sergeant-at-Arms elected, a prospect's change of member type, the discussions in your groups. It reads like a social feed, with reactions and comments, and writes itself from the club's record. Each member sees their own chapter, groups and chain of command: everything that's theirs to see, and nothing that isn't.

Fraternal Organizations

Your lodge election ends with the officers in their seats.
Your Secretary runs it as Election Conductor — a designation on the office, so they run the election without being an administrator. A nomination can need a set number of seconds before it reaches the ballot. You set who may stand: which member types, from which lodges, with how many days as a member and as an officer. The moment the result is certified, each winner is placed in the role and the lodge they were elected to, and the outgoing officer's role ends.
New bylaws go up. The old ones are still there.
Replace a file and the earlier revision is kept: who uploaded it, when, and the file itself. The Revisions dialog lists every version with its own download. Curators are appointed by officer role, so the job passes to the next Secretary with the seat, and who can see a folder is set folder by folder.

Veterans' Organizations
Posts, districts and departments, several classes of member, officers at each level.
Who holds what, post by post, kept current by the transfers and elections themselves.
Each office is tied to the organization where it is held, so one member can hold a seat at the post and a seat at the district, each ending on its own. Approve a transfer between posts and any office held at the old post is released. A deactivation — voluntary leave, removal or memorial — takes the member off the active roster, releases their offices and keeps all history.

Choose-one or ranked ballots, votes final, a read-only receipt for each voter. The conductor watches turnout by organization, with the smallest posts combined; members see no running totals. The moment the result is certified, each winner is placed in the role and the post they were elected to, and the outgoing commander's role ends.
